production management system
     china construction equipment  &  engineering co.,ltd. (hereafter: ccee) has a production management system in place to manage the entire production process. this system has been integrated into quality manual (ms01-2010).  
 
      after technical department receives and reviews the approved drawings, a material list is generated by the production preparation department and a senior engineer reviews the material list to ensure both material grade and quantity  are  adequate. materials  department  receives  the  approved material list and performs the materials procurement (an erp software is used to monitor and track the materials and cost).
 
      ccee use advanced cnc cutting & drilling machine (r14, fastcam & feisaip) for material preparation. automatic and semi-automatic saw, semi-automatic gmaw are used for the welding process.
 
      daily progress reports are submitted to the responsible production  engineer for updates. the production engineer periodically (daily & weekly) reviews the progress and compares with the approved project schedule to monitor the progress and report to project manager.
 
     itp (inspection and test plan) is generated for each project and detailed inspections/tests  are specified for each fabrication process for all inspection parties including client or 3rd party. first-off inspection is mandatory on each process for steel pile fabrication.
 
       sales and cp department are responsible for all changes and communications with all other departments.

 

project management system
our project management system (document no. zjaz-qgb002-2011) requires a project team to be established for each project which includes at least project manager, project engineer, cp, qa/qc, safety, materials coordinator, etc.
 
the project team builds the wbs (normally in the first meeting) and breaks down to the detailed activity-based wbs. these detailed activities are used to establish project schedule with the considerations of time and cost and a gantt chart is generated during this process.
 
 according to approved project execution plan, project manager ensures all resources are in place and activities commence as scheduled. project team track, monitor and review the actives and performance to ensure the project is on the right track. (details refer to section 12 of zjaz-qgb002-2011). all potential risks with impact to quality and schedule are reported to project manager for corrections and instructions.
 

project and contract closure are detailed in section 18 of zjaz-qgb002-2011 which includes generation of project closure plan not less than one month prior to project completion. overall review of the project is also performed to ensure all the activities are completed and turnover documents are completed and handed over to clients as required.
